This bit of history is something that seems to be slipping into the "lets not open" files.....it should be listened to and talked about in every Elementary History Class in the U.S.A., in every school that with American students and it wouldn't hurt a few forgein schools to learn about our history either.....

The wonderful site you have is marvelous and I am soo sorry to hear of your loss and think you honored him wonderfully.. I too lost a Navy son in 2002 and am still reeling he was nearly 45 yrs old.. and I miss him so much. I have my own color guard for the Veterans Day parade in Auburn WA each year and this year would have been my son's 46th birthday and for some reason WE WON BEST MARCHING GROUP.. and honor to him and US. He is in Tahoma National Veterans Cemetery... GOOD JOB FOLKS.. and again my deepest sympathies to you...
