"I Love You"

How can three little words
possibly sum up all I feel for you - -
you, the one who has always stood by me,
who has a magical way
of making me smile
and has given me 55 years of joy - - -
the one who knows my heart,
who shares my dreams . . .
the one who has made
my whole world feel complete ?

Although they may only be
three little words,
I want you to know
that when I say "I love you,"
I'm saying that you're
everything to me - -
my lover, my partner, my friend.
